6 months!!!!

Our little lady turned 6 months last week and she is doing great! Erik and I can't believe how big she is already! Olivia weighs 15 pounds 12 ounces and she's 26.5 inches long. She is sitting up on her own and rolling all over the place. It used to be so easy to put her down on her activity mat and I knew she would still be there when I got back. Now I can't walk away for more than a second because she rolls and pushes herself around on her belly. Crawling is definitely around the corner!

Olivia loves to eat and we are up to two meals a day. She loves her veggies, so we thought it was time to try some fruit. She ate pears for the first time last weekend and couldn't get enough. She jumps up and down in her high chair while I'm getting her food ready, then she grabs the spoon from my hand and tries to feed herself. She makes a huge mess, but she loves it and has so much fun.

Spring has arrived in Massachusetts and we are trying to get outside as much as we can. We have been taking Doug to the dog park, going running, hiking, and going to baby boot camp. Olivia is great in her stroller and the ergo, so we can be outside for a while and she loves it.

mmmmm.....green beans

Olivia loves to eat! The oatmeal was a success, so we thought it was time to try something green. She had her first pureed green beans yesterday! She wasn't sure at first, but once she got going she loved it.

Naked Baby (almost)

Olivia loves to be naked, but I thought I would put on a diaper before I exposed her on the internet! She recently discovered that her feet are great for biting and is perfecting her happy baby pose.

Olivia had her first taste of oatmeal this morning! I'm not sure how much actually went in, but it was fun!

5 Months

Olivia turned 5 months on Saturday! She's almost 15 lbs and growing so fast. Yesterday, she learned to roll from her back to her stomach and is so proud of herself. She is also trying so hard to sit up on her own and can do it for a few seconds at a time. Now that she can really hold her head up, we have been putting her in the exersaucer. She'll sit and play in there for over an hour while I get things done around the house. We all love the exersaucer!

Olivia recently discovered Douglas and loves to watch him. She'll watch him walk around the room and then reach out to touch him when he gets close. I think Douglas is starting to warm up to her too.

More Snow

We got a few more inches of snow yesterday, so we took Olivia out to play.

4 months

Olivia is now 18 weeks old and doing so many new tricks! She loves to talk, roll around on her activity mat, suck on her fingers, and sit in her bumbo. She has been sleeping longer stretches at night too. Olivia goes to bed around 6, so I get a lot of stuff done in the evening while she's sleeping! I feel like a normal person again not just a new mom!

Today was our last day of our second mommy class. We made a lot of great friends and are so excited to start our third class with them next week!
